Minutes of Regular Monthly Meeting
of the
Haworth Volunteer Firefighters Association
CALL
TO ORDER
The Haworth
Volunteer Firefighters Association held a
regularly scheduled monthly business meeting on Tuesday, January 7,
2003 at the
Haworth Fire Station. Meeting was called
to order at 7:10 p.m. by President Marsh.
Members present were: Batson, Marsh, Donaldson, Middleton,
Wright, Hall,
Boyd, & Gray.

OF PREVIOUS MEETING
Minutes from the
November and December meetings were
read. Batson moved to accept.
Hall
seconded. All members in
favor. Minutes approved.
PRESIDENT
REPORT
None.
FINANCIAL
REPORT
No Finance Report
available due to absence of
Secretary/Treasurer.
JAWS OF LIFE
Boyd
reported that one set of Jaws
of Life, the set from the Winchester Fire Department in Winchester, MA
had
arrived. The power unit has carburetor
problems. Members discussed whether to
repair or replace the power unit, and decided to try to locate a
replacement
power unit. Members also agreed to
attempt to locate a cutter for this set.
The second set of Jaws, those from the Ashland Fire Department
in
Ashland, MA should be delivered soon.
Both sets will need to be serviced prior to placing them
in-service.
OLD
BUSINESS
Boyd reported that
$219.20 had been collected at the Haworth
Christmas Parade for the Toys From The Heart project.
Boyd presented the money to the KBEL radio
station in Idabel.
NEW
BUSINESS
Batson
reported that he had the oil
in Truck-3 changed at James Hodge Ford.
There was no charge for this service, since it was the first oil
change. Middleton made a motion to keep
having the oil changed at James Hodge Ford, so there would not be any
problems
with the factory warranty on the Truck-3.
Donaldson seconded. All members
in favor. Motion carries.

moved to adjourn. Hall seconded. Meeting adjourned at 7:33 p.m.
