Minutes of Rescheduled Monthly
Meeting
CALL TO ORDER:
The Haworth
Volunteer Firefighters Association held
a regularly scheduled monthly business meeting on Tuesday, February 1,
2005 at the Haworth Fire Department. President Chad Wright called
the meeting to order at 7:17 p.m. Members present were: Michael
Carrell, Richard Owens, Kyle Batson, Eric Jackson, Vic Marsh, Floyd
Middleton, Lyndon Farley, Keith Donaldson, Jim Ferguson, Chad Wright,
and Kirk Storey. Junior Firefighters present were: Landon
Middleton, Jarred Campbell, and Shane Farley.
MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING:
Minutes of
the previous meeting were
presented. Donaldson moved to accept the minutes as
written. F. Middleton seconded. All members in favor.
Minutes approved.
PRESIDENT’S REPORT:
Wright
reported that some progress had been made on
the 2005 Goals. Members have received 3 hours of SCBA and Fill
Station Operation training and the rescue truck is repaired. He
also reported that all hand tools were now located on the driver side
of the rescue truck and the medical items are located on the passenger
side.

OLD BUSINESS:
Middleton
reported that the rescue truck has a new
carburetor with an automatic choke. It is no longer necessary to
manually choke the apparatus when starting the motor.

None.
