The Haworth Volunteer Firefighters Association held a Regularly Scheduled Monthly Meeting on Tuesday, February 2, 1999 at the Haworth Fire Department.  Meeting was called to order at 7:28 p.m. by Boyd.  Members present were: Storey, Boyd, Batson, Middleton, Hall, Farley and White.

Minutes of the previous meeting were read.  Hall moved to accept.  Batson seconded.  All members in favor.  Minutes approved.

Storey reported the Association had an income of $782.10 from water donations and $40.00 from the sale of metal boxes.  Expenses were: $331.60 (payment on Hahn loan), $41.38 (gas and oil), $6.30 (parts), and $18.40 (Redland substation electric bill).  The Association has a current balance of $1,657.10 after paying bills.  The only outstanding bill is to Moore L.P. for moving tank and filling with propane.  Farley moved to accept.  White seconded.  All members in favor.  Report approved.

Old Business: Emergency phone number stickers and child locator stickers were discussed.  Storey is to check with O.S.I. on availability and pricing.  The possibility of getting area businesses or banks to fund the stickers was discussed.

Boyd reported that he may possibly be able to take the entire day off to carry out the Fire Prevention Week program at the school.  Farley stated he would probably be free to assist.

New Business: None

Hall moved to Adjourn.  White seconded.  Meeting adjourned at 7:40 p.m.
