CALL TO ORDER
The Haworth Volunteer Firefighters Association held a regularly scheduled
business meeting on Tuesday, April 4, 2000 at the Haworth Fire Station.
Meeting was called to order at 7:10 p.m. by Sec/Tres Storey. Members
present were: Farley, Hattabaugh, Batson, Donaldson, White, Middleton,
Owens, Teel, Marsh, Ferguson, Cowart, and Storey.
MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING
Minutes of the previous meeting were read. Middleton moved to
accept. Owens seconded. All members in favor. Minutes
approved.

Middleton moved to accept. Donaldson seconded. All members
in favor. Report approved.
OLD BUSINESS
Middleton reported that a 1974 Ford pumper had been purchased from
Craftsbury Fire Department in Craftsbury, Vermont for $3,500.00.
The pumper has been delivered and is in excellent condition.
NEW BUSINESS
Teel asked if a decision had ever been reached about the purchase of
a “Jaws of Life”. Middleton stated that the Department needed several
additional members that would be available during the day to answer rescue
and extrication calls. Once additional “daytime” members are available,
the proposal can be brought before the membership for a vote.

Middleton moved to adjourn. Hattabaugh seconded. Meeting
adjourned at 7:27 p.m.
