Minutes of Regular Monthly Meeting
of the
Haworth Volunteer Firefighters Association

CALL TO ORDER
The Haworth Volunteer Firefighters Association held a regular monthly business meeting on Tuesday, April 3, 2001 at the Haworth Fire Station.  Meeting was called to order at 6:55 p.m. by President Boyd.  Members present were: Batson, Owens, Marsh, Donaldson, Middleton, Carrell, Hall, White, Ferguson, Wright, Cowart, Boyd, Storey, and Staples.

MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING
Minutes of the previous meeting were read.  Cowart moved to accept.  Marsh  seconded.  All members in favor.  Minutes approved.

PRESIDENT REPORT
None

FINANCIAL REPORT
Beginning Balance:  $2,065.44

Expenses:               $   500.00  City of Garvin - Reimbursement for (5) 24volt Pumps

Batson moved to accept.  Hall seconded.  All members in favor.  Report approved.

OLD BUSINESS
Members discussed repairs to engine in Truck-3.  Owens to begin repairs soon.

NEW BUSINESS
Members discussed replacing the batteries and tires on the 3/4 ton Chevy.

Batson reported that a new rear-view mirror was needed for Tank-3.  Middleton asked to pick one up at Carter’s Equipment.

Boyd reported that all apparatus needed inspection stickers.  White stated that he would order the stickers through the school and replace them.

Hall reported that Georgia Pacific had offered the use of their fire training facility at Ashdown, AR to members of the Haworth Volunteer Fire Department.

Batson moved to adjourn.  Carrell seconded.  Meeting adjourned at 7:13 p.m.
