Meeting
CALL TO ORDER:
The Haworth
Volunteer Firefighters Association held
a regularly scheduled monthly business meeting on Tuesday, April 12,
2005 at the Haworth Fire Department. President Chad Wright called
the meeting to order at 6:37 p.m. Members present were: Lyndon
Farley, Jim Ferguson, Kyle Batson, Mark Kates, Floyd Middleton, Chad
Wright, Clint Ebert, Scott Smith, Vic Marsh, Michael Carrell, and Kirk
Storey. Junior Firefighters present were: Landon Middleton,
Jarred Campbell, and Shane Farley. Guest present: Scott Harris.
MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING:
Minutes of
the previous meeting were
presented. Middleton moved to accept the minutes as
written. Jackson seconded. All members in favor.
Minutes approved.

REDLAND SUBSTATION CONSTRUCTION
PROJECT:
Wright
stated he would pick up the metal from
Cunningham Steel on Tuesday. Jackson reported that the County had
started the dirt work.
OLD BUSINESS:

NEW BUSINESS:
2005 FIRE
Act grant application submitted.
Ferguson
inquired about the status of upgrading the
department’s breathing air fill station to accommodate SCUBA
cylinders. Storey will check on the cost of the upgrade and
whether it would void the warranty.
