Monthly Meeting
CALL TO ORDER:
The Haworth
Volunteer Firefighters Association held
a regularly scheduled monthly business meeting on Monday, April 10,
2006 at the Haworth Fire Department. President Chad Wright called
the meeting to order at 6:51 p.m. Members present were: Floyd
Middleton, Richard Owens, Michael Carrell, Chad Wright, Scott Smith,
Jim Ferguson, John Coffman, Keith Donaldson, Lyndon Farley, Eric
Jackson, Clint Ebert, Kyle Batson, and Kirk Storey. Junior
Firefighters present: Landon Middleton, and Jay Don Tunnell.
MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING:
Minutes of
the previous meeting were
presented. Ferguson moved to accept the minutes as written.
Jackson seconded. All members in favor. Minutes approved.

OLD BUSINESS:
Members
discussed grant projects currently
pending. Storey advised he was awaiting word from Jerry
Whisenhunt about the possibility of moving the repeater antenna higher
on the tower. He also reported receiving a materials list from
Bailey Lumber for the meeting/training room project. Wright
suggested using a window unit heating/cooling system.
NEW BUSINESS:
Coffman
reported that he needed new structural
firefighting boots. Storey will order tomorrow.
Middleton
inquired about ordering new t-shirts and
caps. Will check on pricing for next meeting.
