Minutes of Regularly Scheduled Monthly Meeting


CALL TO ORDER:
    The Haworth Volunteer Firefighters Association held a regularly scheduled monthly business meeting on Monday, May 8, 2006 at the Haworth Fire Department.  President Chad Wright called the meeting to order at 7:56 p.m.  Members present were: Chad Wright, Floyd Middleton, Jarred Campbell, Landon Middleton, Lyndon Farley, Kyle Batson, Jim Ferguson, Eric Jackson, and Chris Hall.  Junior Firefighters present: Jay Don Tunnell and Shane Farley.


MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING:
    Minutes of the previous meeting were presented.  Ferguson moved to accept the minutes as written.  Jackson seconded.  All members in favor.  Minutes approved.


PRESIDENT’S REPORT:
    None.


FINANCIAL REPORT:
  Beginning Balance: $ 8,881.11
  Income:            $   761.40    Rural Water - $1 Donations
                     $    25.00    McCurtain Co Election Board – Polling Precinct Payment
                     $   100.00    Donald Booth - Donation
  Expenses:          $    13.00    Rural Water – Pollard Water Bill
                     $    55.65    Choctaw Electric – Substations
                     $   198.69    First State Bank – Loan Payment
                     $   100.00    McCurtain Co Firefighter Association - Dues
  Ending Balance:    $ 9,400.17
    Middleton moved to accept financial report.  Ferguson seconded.  All members in favor.  Financial Report approved.


OLD BUSINESS:
    Members discussed ordering new t-shirts and caps.  Middleton will contact Smitty about cost.


NEW BUSINESS:
    None.


ADJOURN:
    Middleton moved to adjourn.  Ferguson seconded.  All members in favor.  Meeting adjourned at 8:00 p.m.
