Minutes of Regular Monthly Meeting
of the
Haworth Volunteer Firefighters Association

CALL TO ORDER
    The Haworth Volunteer Firefighters Association held a regularly scheduled monthly business meeting on Tuesday, June 4, 2002 at the Haworth Fire Station.  Meeting was called to order at 7:03 p.m. by Vice-President Donaldson.  Members present were: Marsh, Owens, Middleton, White, Cowart, Donaldson, Batson, Wright, Storey, and Smith.
 
MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING
    Minutes of the previous meeting were read.  Cowart moved to accept.  Marsh seconded.  All members in favor.  Minutes approved.

    Wright moved to accept.  White seconded.  All members in favor.  Report approved.
 
OLD BUSINESS

NEW BUSINESS
    Marsh reported that dues to the McCurtain County Firefighters Association were now due.  This year, dues are $200.00.  $100.00 of the dues will be earmarked to donate toward the wildland firefighter memorial at the Forest Heritage Center at Beaver’s Bend State Park.  Cowart moved to pay the dues.  Wright seconded.  All members in favor.  Motion approved.
    Members discussed purchasing disposable cameras to carry on apparatus.  The cameras would be beneficial in documenting fire scenes.  Wright moved to purchase 5 or 6 disposable cameras.  Batson seconded.  All members in favor.  Purchase approved.
 
ADJOURN
    Batson moved to adjourn.  White seconded.  Meeting adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
