Minutes of Rescheduled Monthly Meeting
of the
Haworth Volunteer Firefighters Association


CALL TO ORDER
The Haworth Volunteer Firefighters Association held a rescheduled monthly business meeting on Thursday, July 6, 2000 at the Haworth Fire Station.  Meeting was called to order at 7:14 p.m. by Vice President Chris Hall.  Members present were: Middleton, Donaldson, Cowart, Marsh, Farley, Owens, Bennett, Hall, Teel, Batson, White, Storey, and Kates.  Others present: Michael Carrell.

MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING
Minutes of the previous meeting were read.  Middleton moved to accept.  Batson seconded.  All members in favor.  Minutes approved.

Farley moved to accept.  Cowart seconded.  All members in favor.  Report approved.

ELECTION OF PRESIDENT
Hall opened the floor for nominations.  Middleton moved to retain Boyd as President.  Batson seconded.  All members in favor.  Boyd re-elected President.

ELECTION OF VICE PRESIDENT
Hall opened the floor for nominations.  Batson moved to retain Hall as Vice President.  Middleton seconded.  All members in favor.  Hall re-elected Vice President.

ELECTION OF SECRETARY/TREASURER
Hall opened the floor for nominations.  Middleton moved to retain Storey as Secretary/Treasurer.  Donaldson seconded.  All members in favor.  Storey re-elected Sec/Tres.

OLD BUSINESS
None.

NEW BUSINESS
Members discussed fundraiser to purchase and install a fire hydrant in the Redland area and purchase additional equipment for the Redland pumper.  Middleton will talk to area residents to determine the best possible date.

ADJOURN
Cowart moved to adjourn.  Batson seconded.  Meeting adjourned at 7:23 p.m.
