Haworth Volunteer Firefighters Association
CALL
TO ORDER
The Haworth
Volunteer Firefighters Association held a
regularly scheduled monthly business meeting on Tuesday, July 8, 2003
at the
Haworth Fire Station. Meeting was called
to order at 6:52 p.m. by Wright. Members
present were: Gray, Owens, Cowart, Batson, Wright, Hall, Ebert, Farley,
Smith,
Hattabaugh, Middleton, Storey, and Marsh.

Minutes from the
previous meeting were read. Hattabaugh
moved to accept. Ebert seconded. All members in favor. Minutes
approved.

BUSINESS
Storey reported that
he had spoke with John Redman at Rural
Development concerning the Association’s grant application. Redman stated that it would be mid-July
before he would be able to begin processing the application.
NEW
BUSINESS
Election
of Association officers
should have been held this month. The
items will be placed on the August agenda.

moved to adjourn. Gray seconded. Meeting adjourned at 7:03 p.m.
