Haworth Volunteer Firefighters Association
CALL TO ORDER:
The Haworth Volunteer Firefighters
Association held a regularly scheduled monthly business meeting on Monday,
July 12, 2004
at the Haworth Senior Citizen Center. Vice
President Donnie Gray called the meeting to order at 7:35 p.m.
Members present were: Jim Ferguson, John Coffman, Chris Hall,
Aubrey
Gray, Eric Jackson, Donnie Gray, David Smith, Vic Marsh, Floyd
Middleton, Ryan
Scott, Clint Ebert, and Kirk Storey. Junior
Firefighters present were: Landon
Middleton and Kyle Gray.
MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING:
Minutes of the previous meeting were
presented. Floyd Middleton moved to
accept the minutes as written. Jackson seconded. All
members in favor. Minutes approved.
PRESIDENT’S REPORT:
Gray reminded members of the July 19th
fundraiser.

financial report. Ebert seconded. All members in favor. Financial
Report approved.
OLD BUSINESS:
a) JULY 19th PIE/CAKE
AUCTION & GUN RAFFLE FUNDRAISER:
Members discussed the upcoming fundraiser and agreed to sell
hotdogs, nachos,
frito chili pies, and drinks. Members
will solicit the donation of food items from area businesses. Members discussed pricing of food items and
agreed to the following prices:
Drinks - 50¢ Hotdogs - $1.00 Frito
Chili Pies - $1.00 Nachos

NEW BUSINESS:
Members discussed
disposing of the four factory tires taken off Truck-3.
Ebert moved to sell the tires for $50.00
each. Floyd Middleton seconded. All members in favor. Motion
carried.
Donnie Gray reported that he had
purchased books for his CPR & First Aid Instructor certification
course. The cost of the materials was
$125.00. Floyd Middleton moved to
reimburse
Donnie Gray for the expense. Aubrey Gray
seconded. All members in favor. Motion carried.
Donnie Gray reported that OSU-FST
had scheduled an Instructor Training Course on August 2-6 at Owasso, Oklahoma.
Gray advised that he could arrange to take time off from work
and attend
the training. There is no charge for
attending the course, but members agreed to reimburse incidental
expenses
relating to this training (motel, meals, & fuel).

Marsh moved to adjourn. Jackson seconded. All
members in favor. Meeting adjourned at 7:57 p.m.
