TO ORDER:
The Haworth
Volunteer Firefighters Association held a
regularly scheduled monthly business meeting on Monday, August 9, 2004 at the Haworth
Fire Department. President Chad Wright
called the meeting to
order at 7:21 p.m. Members present were: Floyd Middleton, Jim
Ferguson, Ryan Scott, John Coffman, Donnie Gray, Eric Jackson, Chad
Wright, Vic
Marsh, Lyndon Farley, David Smith, and Kirk Storey.
Junior Firefighters present were: Landon
Middleton, Kyle Gray, Jarred Campbell, and Shane Farley.
MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING:
Minutes of
the previous meeting were presented. Ferguson
moved to accept the minutes as written. Marsh
seconded. All members in favor. Minutes approved.

President; Donnie Gray re-elected Vice-President; and Kirk Storey
re-elected
Secretary/Treasurer.
OLD BUSINESS:
Donnie Gray
reported that he and Aubrey were not able to
attend the Instructor Training at Owasso, due to the class being full.
Wright
reminded members of the availability of the “Burn
Building” at Domtar in Ashdown,
AR. Members
discussed using the facility and felt it would be better to use the Burn
Building at the Fire
Training Center
in Broken Bow.
Members
were reminded of the upcoming Vehicle Extrication
Course which will be held on Saturday, September 11th and
Sunday,
September 12th at the Fire
Training Center
in Broken Bow. Training will
begin at 8 a.m.
NEW BUSINESS:
Smith
reported that the department had been requested to
have a member present at the County Firefighters Association Meeting on
August
10th. Training will be held
on the Incident Reporting System.
