Minutes of Regular Monthly Meeting
of the
Haworth Volunteer Firefighters Association

CALL TO ORDER
The Haworth Volunteer Firefighters Association held a regular monthly business meeting on Tuesday, October 3, 2000 at the Haworth Fire Station.  Meeting was called to order at 7:34 p.m. by Vice President Hall.  Members present were: Storey, Owens, White, Middleton, Batson, Boyd, Cowart, Donaldson, Marsh, Bennett, Teel, Farley, Hall, and Ferguson.

MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING
Minutes of the previous meeting were read.  Owens moved to accept.  Cowart seconded.  All members in favor.  Minutes approved.

PRESIDENT REPORT
None

FINANCIAL REPORT
    Beginning Balance: $   649.37

Middleton moved to accept.  Cowart seconded.  All members in favor.  Report approved.

OLD BUSINESS
Middleton reported that the Redland Fire Hydrant had been removed for repairs.  While repairing a broken line, Rural Water personnel allowed rocks to fall into the lines and some of the rocks had damaged the seal in the hydrant.

NEW BUSINESS
Marsh reported that he would like to schedule a benefit for the Pollard Substation.  He also reported that the Bokhoma Masonic Lodge would possibly match up to $1,000.00 of the proceeds.  Marsh will visit with Pollard area residents to establish a date for the benefit and advise fire department members.

Cowart moved to adjourn.  Teel seconded.  Meeting adjourned at 7:59 p.m.
