Haworth Volunteer Firefighters Association

CALL TO ORDER
The Haworth Volunteer Firefighters Association held a regular monthly business meeting on Tuesday, November 6, 2001 at the Haworth Fire Station.  Meeting was called to order at 6:45 p.m. by Donaldson.  Members present were: Middleton, Batson, Hattabaugh, Ferguson, Owens, Marsh, Cowart, White, Donaldson, Carrell, & Storey.

MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING
Minutes of the previous meeting were read.  Ferguson moved to accept.  Middleton  seconded.  All members in favor.  Minutes approved.

Middleton moved to accept.  Cowart seconded.  All members in favor.  Report approved.

REPAIRS TO TRUCK-2
Members discussed engine problems of Truck-2.  Owens to test engine for faulty head gasket.

GRANTS
Members discussed options for financing the Department’s matching share of the Bureau of Indian Affairs Rural Fire Assistance grant.  One possibility discussed was refinancing the Department’s existing loan.  Matter tabled until BIA awards grants.
