Winchester Fire Department in Winchester, Massachusetts.
Their Fire Chief had offered to trade their surplus power unit,
hoses, spreader, and extra tips for a new Bearcat 780XLT scanner (will
cost approximately $350-$400) and they will pay shipping costs. The second set of tools is owned by the
Ashland Fire Department in Ashland, Massachusetts.
The set includes a power unit (with a new Honda engine), cutter,
spreader, hoses. Their Fire Chief offered
to donate the entire set to the Haworth Volunteer Fire Department if we
would be willing to pay for shipping costs. Cowart
moved to purchase the scanner and trade for the first set and pay for
shipping costs on the second set. Wright
seconded. All members in favor. Motion approved.

he had submitted a grant application to

The federal share would be $30,000 and the Association would be
responsible for providing $10,000. The
grant will be used to purchase a new 1-ton Ford 4x4.
