The Haworth Volunteer Firefighters Association held a Regularly Scheduled Monthly Meeting on Tuesday, December 1, 1998 at the Haworth Fire Department.  Meeting was called to order at 6:58 p.m. by Boyd.  Members present were: Batson, Middleton, Boyd, Smith, Hall, White, and Storey.

Minutes of the previous meeting were read.  Storey moved to accept.  Hall seconded.  All members in favor.  Minutes approved.

Batson reported the Association had a beginning balance of $1,242.04, income of $818.90, expenses totaling $1,347.50, and an ending balance of $738.00.  Hall moved to accept.  White seconded.  All members in favor.  Report approved.

Building grant issue tabled.

Election of President.  Floor was opened for nominations.  White nominated Boyd.  Smith seconded.  No further nominations.  Boyd elected by acclamation.

Election of Vice-President.  Floor was opened for nominations.  Smith nominated Hall.  Middleton seconded.  No further nominations.  Hall elected by acclamation.

Election of Secretary/Treasurer.  Floor was opened for nominations.  Batson nominated Smith.  Storey seconded.  No further nominations.  Smith elected by acclamation.

Old Business: None

New Business: Approaching the Town about paying OSFA dues for Department members was discussed.  It was decided to withhold payment pending their decision.

Hall moved to Adjourn.  White seconded.  Meeting Adjourned at 7:15 p.m.
