Minutes of Regular Monthly Meeting
of the
Haworth Volunteer Fire Department
CALL TO ORDER
The Haworth Volunteer Fire Department held a regularly scheduled business meeting on Tuesday, May 2, 2000 at the Haworth Fire Station.  Meeting was called to order at 6:39 p.m. by Chief Middleton.  Members present were: Marsh, Cowart, Ferguson, Smith, Owens, White, Middleton, Farley, and Storey.  Others present: Michael Smithson.

MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING
Minutes of the previous meeting were read.  Owens moved to accept.  Cowart seconded.  All members in favor.  Minutes approved.

FINANCIAL REPORT

Cowart moved to accept.  White seconded.  All members in favor.  Report approved.

PENSION & RETIREMENT SYSTEM
Middleton tabled the issue until more members could be present.

OLD BUSINESS
Middleton reported that most of the necessary equipment had been received for Engine-4.

Middleton also reported that a little interior trim work was all that remains to be done on the new station.

Owens moved to adjourn.  Cowart seconded.  Meeting adjourned at 6:48 p.m.
