SALE OF APPARATUS:
Members discussed the future sale of apparatus.  Storey stated that he had spoken with Dana at Fire Apparatus Resources concerning the possibility of selling Engine-2.  She advised that she could assist in locating a buyer, and to contact her with the details and asking price when appropriate.  Marsh also discussed the need to replace Engine-4.  He reported that a possible replacement had been located at Smithville.  Keith Gammel has a 1984 Ford/FMC with a 1,000 GPM pump and a 1,000 gallon tank.  He is asking $12,000 for the pumper.  Marsh suggested refinancing the Association’s existing loan and purchasing the pumper, then selling Engine-2 and use the money from its sale to purchase a replacement cab and chasis for the mini-pumper.  Wright stated that the mini-pumper was the most mechanically problematic apparatus and we should focus on replacing it first.  Floyd Middleton stated that we could replace the motor in the mini-pumper.  Aubrey Gray moved to replace the motor in the mini-pumper.  Wright seconded.  All members in favor  Motion approved.
