CALL TO ORDER
The Haworth Volunteer Fire Department held a regular monthly business meeting on Tuesday, December 5, 2000 at the Haworth Fire Station.  Meeting was called to order at 8:03 p.m. by Assistant Chief Batson.  Members present were: Batson, Storey, Farley, White, Donaldson, Hall, Marsh, Bennett, Owens, Hattabaugh, Teel, Carrell, and Cowart.

MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING
Minutes of the previous meeting were presented.  Hattabaugh moved to accept.  Cowart seconded.  All members in favor.  Minutes approved.

FINANCIAL REPORT
    Beginning Balance: $   860.52

Cowart moved to accept finance report.  Donaldson seconded.  All members in favor.  Finance report approved.

INACTIVE FIREFIGHTER(S)
Storey reported that the Department had one inactive firefighter: Eric Lacy.  Lacy has not attended three consecutive meetings and, according the departmental policy, must be dismissed.  Hall moved to dismiss Lacy.  Hattabaugh seconded.  All members in favor.  Motion carried.

OLD BUSINESS
None.

NEW BUSINESS
Storey reported that the Kindergarten class at Haworth Elementary would be visiting the Fire Station on Friday, December 8th at 10:15 a.m.
