| September 16, 2000 - James Pettiet, Worshipful Master of the Goodwater Masonic Lodge #148 presented a check for $2,000.00 to Haworth Fire Chief Floyd Middleton. The money, which was a combination of the $1,000.00 matching funds from the Masonic Lodge and $1,000.00 of the proceeds raised at the August 5th benefit bean dinner, brings the total amount of money raised for the installation of a fire hydrant in Redland and the purchase of equipment for the Redland pumper to $2,368.00. |
